October 6th, 2010

The big casinos in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and other large gambling destinations around the world are feeling the changes that online gambling is bringing to the industry. Some are excepting the internet wagering as a step forward realizing gambling’s appeal by making it more popular and accessible.

The use of ‘Flash’ based internet games is becoming the business trend, because we now live in a society based on instant this and instant that. People are not interested in waiting for a download if they can have a program or game streamed to their mobile devises or computer.

Harrah’s, one of the largest gambling and casino operators in the world ,decided a short time ago to expand it’s bricks and mortar casino offerings to start an online division of the company called Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment. Based in Montreal, Canada the firm decided to use Dragonfish software to provide it’s customers with downloadable casino games. That has all changed recently as Harrah’s no longer uses Dragonfish software primarily because Dragonfish was not capable of instant access gaming.

Harrah’s needed to be able to offer the no download platform to it’s many loyal customers.
Gamesys Group founded in 2002 by four computer programmers and their flagship product ”Jack Joy” now powers the worlds famous Caesar’s Casino online version. Which allows gamblers the option to download the casino software or play instantly without an installed program. Jackpotjoy has launched games based around classic television game shows, such as the Price is Right and Deal or No Deal. This has help to make the Caesar’s Casino more flexible for people on the go.

The launch date for the new version of Harrah’s Online Caesars Casino and Caesars Poker has not yet been announced and when they do become available they will still be only available in the European jurisdiction and not to players from the USA.
